Journey's a killer

Today I finished the very last thing that had to be done before my application to nursing school was completely completed. It was a test and I got a slightly higher than 91%.

Not too shabby and I don't think that anyone I have talked to who has also taken it has gotten a higher score. In 16 days, I should get my email or regular-mail-letter, of acceptance. Hopefully, hopefully!

NaNoWriMo starts the day after tomorrow. The rest of the semester will be pretty crazy with the schedule I have. Pretty much right after (Or maybe right before?) Thanksgiving, I start clinicals at a nursing home.
Joel, Tasha, Joel's mother and I all went up to look at a possible wedding venue yesterday. It was really pretty and fairly affordable and we were feeling a bit optimistic about it. Then dad said he might just buy this property he's been keeping his eye on for about 6 months and we could just have it there. I see this offer for what it is. That is, dad is using us as an excuse to buy more land. I don't think I mind though, the property has an orchard on it.

Now, I am feeling very relieved because I have no other things hanging over my head that need to scheduled or completed. Well, I have a hearing test on Monday, but it may not be necessary and I'll have my physical turned in and it all really will be done. Unless my drug test comes back with odd and unexpected results.

We go to check out that property tomorrow with the family. Should be fun!
