Officially on summer vaca now:...and most of my close friends are miles and miles away. Sweet. No, not at all, actually. But I have Joe and enough close friends around that I'll definately be making the best of this time off.:)
I went to Tampa last weekend w/ my mum to see my sister/bro-in-law/nephew/niece and it was wonderful, but I just wish they didn't live so far away. I am def not a fan, though it is nice to have somewhere to visit where I can have access to a car and food for free. July brings a trip to Houston/New Orleans with Bethany to see our Texans, Amver & Tabitha! CANNOT WAIT! We already have the plane tix, but I must commence saving up for that. It should be pretty amazing slash insane.
I'll also be working a shitload this summer to save up for a "new" car. I use "new" tentatively because ideally I'd like a Civic Hybrid (I'm no speed racer, so I don't care if it can't go 100 or whatever), but that might not be realistic right now. The '93, 182,000 car I have now though is about a half a mile away from shitting the bed.
