I'm 20! Holy shit!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME. Yeah, so I'm no longer a teenager, which is amazingly awesome and yet wicked weird too. Thanks SO much to everyone for the bajillions of texts, cards, IMs, & away messages; they really mean a lot to me. Tonight I'm going out to eat (!) and getting my standard Carvel ice cream cake(!). So what that I'm the only person over 8 who has to have one every year.
I'm basically just updating this because I was lj-ordered to by Hayes-a-bib (<3 224), but that's okay.
Last weekend was spent in the District of Columbia with my Stafford, and we had a awesome time! :) Ate a lot, drank, shopped, drove to Alexandria, Virginia, for Dunkin' Donuts...you know, the usual. It was so good to see her and meet even more of her fabulously funny friends from American. Big thank you to Brian J. Stafford for that plane ticket.
Only a few more days of classes, some extra credit, and finals standing between me and 5 glorious weeks off! Classes are done on Tues the 14th, then I have a "final" the 14th (more like a test), two on the 16th unless I can pull off an A in Psych by the 15th, and one shitty awful terrible math final...@ 8am on Sat the 18th. I can't really complain though because I'm done a full four days before finals are completely over for UML.
Looking forward to seeing my sister, bro in law, nephew & niece for "Christmas" a week early, but I still wish they were going to be here on actual Christmas. (They live in Florida now, for anyone who doesn't know). I am obsessed with Christmas. LIVE for it. And starting tomorrow I am in full-effect Christmas mode-- I obviously can't be too into it before my bday, as that needs its own celebrations. Should be awesome though to see everyone and not have to worry about school shit for over a month.
And last thing I'm going to mention today is that I am GOING TO THE BAHAMAS MARCH 13TH-19TH with my amazing Bethany! We're staying at this all-inclusive hotel called "Breezes", which actually lives up to its all-inclusive name with unlimited COCKTAILS (and other boring drinks, like water), meals, 24 snacks, wind sailing, transportation to the airport, 5 bars, pools, night clubs, kayaking, you name it, so much more. Annnnnd it's on the beach!
All in all, I am having a fabulous day/life. A big huge thank you to Joe, who is responsible for a lot of that happiness and contentment. ily
