The bird
So I come home today from work, and i notice a pigion in our drive way... I come in, and ask my parents "Did anyone notice the half dead bird in our driveway?" So apparently my dad had brushed it all over our driveway in an attempt to kill it so he could get rid of it, but nothing worked so he eventually gave up. The theory is that the crows were going after it. Heres when i come in... so i take a shoe box, and some newspaper, paper towel and some water, and pick up the bird *note: all sanitary precautions were taken* examine the birdy *no blood or soreness anywhere so yay* and put it in the shoe box. At this time i go find an old bird cage in our garage, fix it up, put some worms and bread crumbs along with some water... put the birdy in it, and made a deal with the parents who didn't want anything to do with it, the deal is that if he's *assuming maleness* dead in the morning, dad can dispose of it... but if its alive, barely or fully i take it to the SPCA, cuz i'm not to sure where else to take a wild bird, i don't think they'll even take me seriously, which kinda bothers me, i'm not getting attached, but i do care, because its a living animal, on God's green earth, and i have the power to do something, and i am. And i ask you to do something as well... Please pray, or whatever you please, even kind thoughts would be appreciated. Either for a quick and painless death, or a full recovery.
