 She found herself lying in a real and comfortable bed when she woke up; the feeling of soft fabric holding her in a gentle embrace elicited an involuntary sigh as her limbs stretched carefully. She had to blink a few times against the many torches that enlightened the chamber.

“Finally! I thought I´d have to wait forever...”

I never thought I'd say this but..."YAY Nicci" ...lol

I did not see that coming and really I should have knowing her - she always looks after herself first and foremost!!! Just brilliant & well played :)

The whole collar thing is interesting because now both she and Kahlan are collared and both their freedoms are invested in this shaky partnership...*sigh* why do i have a sense of foreboding about this....oh thats right because its never that easy & you like cliffhangers & torturing you readers ;P

Cara & Kahlan's reuniting was just awwww...poor Cara but at least its good to her snarkiness survived her ordeal unharmed ....LOL

I´m blushing a little, but yes, I admit I like this twist too much to be ashamed of it.You´re right, it´s never that easy - because if it would be, you would go all asleep while reading... LOL!

I always head for bringing our ladies together again - so if only to seperate them again... Poor girls, they deserved that "living happily ever after" thing, I know, but... maybe later...
