people go to college, have work, and as a conssequence hang out with a variety of people
i, and others were trying to Be Nice and involve everyone. Polite answers like, “ahhh I don’t know many people, I think ill pass”, “I think I will get my best friend something”, “ im pretty tight on money this year”, all are perfectly acceptable. Don’t think you better than us saying "I'm Not Doing It"; good riddance. Having multiple Pollyannas is redundant and makes people feel left out. Maybe we should have decided no intergroup present giving. Maybe we should say, one silly twenty dollar gift for Christmas is NO big deal. I forgot how nice life is with out petty arguments and outcries for attention. Don’t criticize people you call your friends who you don’t even know… and Don't blame us for not socializing with you.
