Drizzly October Sunday Morning
I finally figured out how to make my entries pretty and colorful and all that jazz, sweet. Well I'm just feeling kinda lazy and laid back today cuz the weather is so yucky. But today I get to carve pumpkins w/my family and some friends of the family, its a yearly tradtition we've been doing since before I was even born I think. My friend Krista is really cool, she goes to Clarkston, it's her family that we do this with every year. It's kinda sad though since this year my sis isn't here, and next year I won't even be there! But at least I have this last year, it's always fun ripping out pumpkin guts and eating lots of good food!
This weekend was pretty good, although Josh's party thing wasn't as fun as we hoped it would be. Everyone left early cuz they all had other plans already or had ACT's in the morning. It was fun while it lasted though. I know we didn't have a whole lot to do, I was just bummed that people didn't stay longer. But then Rach and K ended up stayin the night, so that was fun. I found out today though that Melissa and Kas were drinking at Kesslers then they came back to my house. That kinda makes me mad cuz what if my parents woulda noticed? I guess people just can't have sober fun sometimes. That bums me out you guys, I don't think that was right of you to come to my house tipsy or drunk or whatever you were and then not even tell me, but I guess you just didn't think anything of it.
Yesterday was Josh's birthday. 17 finally! Later curfew, R-rated movies, life is good. He wasn't feeling very well in the morning, it was kinda funny actually cuz I came inside and said hello to him and his family, then went out to my car to bring in his presents, and by the time I got back inside to his room he had fallen asleep again. LoL, poor little guy. But yea I gave him all his wonderful presents: a shirt from Hollister, some boxers with A&F moose on 'em, the Green Day American Idiot CD, a freakin sweet squishy pillow thing, and a waste basket (inside joke hehe) I had "wrapped" everything in the waste basket thing and the lide pops up when you push it, so Josh was very entertained with that. =) I swear he's a five year old trapped inside a teenager's body. I love him for it though, he's so cute. Yeah, then after a few hours of watching some TV and just chilling out cuz Joshie was feeling kinda sick, we went to Mongolian BBQ (SO GOOD!) Haha, we told the waitress that it was his bday so she made him a crown out of tin-foil and put it on his head, and he got a birthday sundae too. Awwww...he was so irritated that we told the lady it was his bday, I don't know why though, he got a sweet crown and a free sundae out of the deal! Geez, what an oddball. Then we went home, his parents and grandma and Matt and Amanda gave him all their presents and we had cake and OrEo ice cream yummmm... watched the Michigan game but me and Josh fell asleep cuz we were so full and comfortable in our big comfy sweatshirts. Then Mike called and asked what we were doing, and we were gonna see Team America later, and he said he and Laura were gonna see that movie too, so we went together at 7:40 and saw it at MJR, one of the funniest movies I've ever seen! It was so crude though lol, like there was this scene where the puppet was drunk and throwing up, so gross! Mike and Josh thought it was hilarious however, I thought it was gonna make Josh feel sick again, but apparently he was better by then lol. Thank God! Laura and I were disgusted but boys will be boys, what can you do. But that movie was so hilarious, I was laughing so hard for most of it. After that, me and Josh just went back to his house and just relaxed and fell asleep. I got home a little late and was really tired, so I just passed out in Brian's room since mine has paint fumes radiating out of it. It was a very nice day.
Today I'm feeling kinda sick, I have a cough and I'm sneezing and stuff, Josh just called and said this morning his temperature was 102 degrees, we're so sick!! But hopefully we'll both get better cuz this week we have half days and then its Halloween, so I don't wanna be sick for that. But that's all for now, I'm gonna go get ready to carve up some pumpkins~
