Dear specific SM author,

Yes, Sailor Moon is extremely powerful. However, if you have Mamoru and Setsuna having an affair, and then Usagi randomly using the Silver Crystal to strip them of their powers, we have a problem. Nowhere in canon does Usagi have the power to strip her senshi of their abilities, and since Mamoru is technically of equal rank

LOL what? But that sounds like an AWESOME plot.

I love that people are still writing utter garbage for that fandom. I was one of those people, twelve years ago, but fortunately, mine never made it out of a notebook.

It was actually a Sailor Moon/Twilight xover, which is of course hilarious. First because nowadays everything gets crossed over with Twilight, and second because so many SM xovers exist for the purpose of getting rid of poor, misunderstood Mamoru, turning Usagi into this cold, monotone, sex goddess with too many powers, and then writing Usagi/whoever, totally ignoring the fact that Tokyo is probably being eaten by youma.

Ironically, back when bohemianrose24 and I were writing cracktastic SM fics, we were constantly leaving Usagi out of them and filling them with Mary-Sue OCs who lusted after Mamorou instead.

I think ALL authors in that fandom ignore the youma at some point.

Hey, at least Mamoru was being appreciated instead of ignored...and yeah, with all the opportunities for romance in Sailor Moon, the youma seem irrelevant except as plot points.

Oh yes. Because it's completely within Usagi's character to hurt someone she loves because she feels they've betrayed her, by taking away what is quite likely their very essence. [/sarcasm]

Also, I love it how they always move her Stateside. Just once, I'd like to see her randomly move to Australia or something.
