Chapter 4
“Why are you flinching so much Masaki?”
Sho asked as he pulled away from Aiba, noticing Aiba trying to bend his neck to the side.
“What’s wrong? Are you in pain? Let me see!”
Sho panicked while looking over at Aiba’s neck, slowly lifting up Aiba’s head.
Jun tip toed towards the shower room, making his escape from the studio, still in his boxers. As Jun went to the shower room, he locked the door behind him to prevent Sho from being able to get in.
“JUN! WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY AIBA?!!!”
Jun heard Sho scream from the other side of the wall.
Jun blushed and smirked as he quietly took his shower.
After Jun’s shower, he called for Aiba, asking him for a towel to dry off.
“I’ll get it.”
Jun heard Sho growl at the door.
“This won’t be good… I’ll get it.”
Ohno spoke softly as he climbed a shelf to reach the top to grab a body towel and climbed back down to hand it to Jun.
“It’s me, here’s your towel.”
Ohno whispered softly.
“Thanks riida.”
Jun responded sweetly as he started drying off his body.
He quickly changed into a purple tank top and black sweat pants and unlocked the door to escape the room.
Jun had been working out recently, and his arm muscles were becoming more and more prominent, causing Aiba to stutter while gazing at Jun.
Sho noticed this and began rolling up his Hermes sleeve to start flexing his arms in front of Aiba and smirking at him.
Nino looked over at Sho and sighed as he shook his head in disappointment.
“Alright, I’ve had enough of this. I’m going back to the studio and I’m gonna play games until you guys are ready to rehearse.”
Nino announced as he walked away.
“Can we do something else?”
Ohno asked Nino flirtatiously.
Nino blushed and gave Ohno a soft and friendly smile while nodding his head in agreement. Nino gave Ohno a light squeeze on his butt before grabbing Ohno’s hand as they walked out of the room together.
“Great, let’s not go in the studio for a while.”
Jun let out an uncomfortable laugh while standing close to Aiba.
“We should do something later. Maybe get some dinner.”
Jun suggested to Aiba softly, his lips inches away from Aiba’s ear causing Aiba to twitch nervously.
Sho whipped out a bag of his Gucci birthday chips Aiba had bought Sho a few months ago. On the chip bag were the words “Happy Birthday Sho-chan”
He was saving them for a special occasion but was feeling highly anxious with Jun around Aiba and needed a snack to calm his nerves.
“Are you eating those Gucci chips I got you?”
Aiba let out a cute laugh while looking over Jun’s shoulder when he heard Sho’s crunching noises.
“Yeah, you want shome?
Sho asked Aiba with his mouth full.
“I’ll try one.”
Aiba replied while pulling a chip out of the bag. Each chip was molded into the Gucci logo, and Aiba and Jun let out a chuckle as they looked at it before Aiba took a bite.
“They just taste like regular chips.”
Aiba shrugged.
“They’re RICH flavored.”
Sho corrected Aiba.
“What does that mean?! They taste like money?”
Jun burst into laughter as he leaned his head on Aiba’s shoulder.
Sho squinted his eyes at Jun while putting his bag of chips down on the counter.
“Stop it.”
Sho warned Jun while shaking his finger at Jun in disapproval.
“Stop what?”
Jun asked with a smirk.
“Stop this?”
Jun replied playfully while wrapping his arms around Aiba and planting a kiss on Aiba’s cheek.
“Jun kun don’t provoke Sho!”
Aiba whined at Jun as Jun gave Sho a devilish grin.
Sho then gave Jun an evil smirk and pulled out his phone and began dialing a number.
“Hey Ueda? Tatsuya kun? Are you free now? Can you come to studio 3 really quick?”
Sho asked eerily calmly.
“You’re on your way? Great. You’re the best!”
Sho replied while smiling.
“You didn’t…”
Jun’s eyes widened in fear.
“Step away from the Aiba and you can sleep tonight in peace.”
Sho threatened Jun.
“STOPPIT YOU TWO”
Aiba yelled at both of them, his voice cracking slightly causing Sho and Jun to squeal at him in awe. Aiba bopped them both on the head with his water bottle.
“Ow you’ve been hanging out with Nino too long.”
Sho frowned.
“Speaking of Nino, I hope they’re done hooking up back there. We need to go over the choreography. Riida hasn’t taught me the steps yet.”
Jun spoke in surprise as he pursed his lips and played with Aiba’s hair.
“We should go check on them.”
Aiba suggested while taking off his jacket and hanging it up, causing Sho and Jun to become flustered around Aiba.
“Hey Jun, why don’t you go check on Ohmiya SK. You’ll scare them into coming out.”
Sho playfully teased.
“Alright fine, but don’t try anything while I’m gone.
As soon as Jun stepped out to check the studio, Sho and Aiba heard a girlish scream.
“What?! What’s going on!?”
Aiba called out as he burst through the door to follow Jun. On the other side of the door was Ueda Tatsuya from Kat-Tun.
“Where’s Sho kun?”
Ueda asked.
Jun stared at Ueda in fear while pointing at the door in which he came out of.
“Sho-chan! You actually called him?!”
Aiba rolled his eyes while giving Jun a warm hug.
“It’ll be okay Jun-kun. Don’t be scared.”
Aiba comforted Jun. Jun slowly wrapped his arms back around Aiba and held him closer.
“Thanks, I feel better now.”
Jun smiled, feeling warmer and more at ease.
“We’re about to go have a dance rehearsal Ueda. You can come rehearse with us if you want.”
Sho suggested.
“Aiba rolled his eyes at Sho and grabbed Jun’s hand, walking him towards the studio.
“Nino, Ohno I know you’re in there and you’d better be done in there. We have to practice.”
Jun commanded behind the dance studio door.
“Give us 10 more minutes.”
Nino moaned from the other side of the door.
Jun then suddenly had an idea and gently asked Ueda for a quick favor.
A few moments later, Ueda burst through the rehearsal door and stood in front of it smiling.
“AHHHHHHHHHH WHYYYYYYY AHHHHHHHH”
Nino screamed while covering himself up.
Ohno stood there butt naked and waved at Ueda.
“Oh hey, I didn’t know you were coming.”
Ohno spoke blankly.
Ueda’s face fell and he looked over at Sho.
“I think I’m going to head out.”
Ueda sighed uncomfortably as he started walking out of the studio.
“Thanks for coming! Sorry about today! I’ll buy you lunch next time!”
Sho offered as Ueda waved Sho goodbye from behind.
“Please get dressed Oh-chan.”
Aiba requested while shielding his eyes.
“Oh! Right! Sorry…”
Ohno replied embarrassed while quickly putting his clothes back on.
Nino was already changing into his clothes as he smirked at Ohno as Ohno bent over to pick up his pants.
After rehearsal, Aiba waved Sho and Jun goodbye as he gave Nino and Ohno a ride home.
Sho went home and decided to take a nap.
After a few hours had passed from his nap, Sho had realized that all of his Gucci and Louis Vuitton furniture had disappeared and were instead replaced with regular store branded furniture.
“OH THE HORROR!”
Sho screamed in disbelief as he looked around his house.
As he looked around, everything in the house was from IKEA and Kmart. He was starting to lose his mind when he saw a Chanel handkerchief on the floor by the exit.
“Jun…”
Sho growled as he grabbed his red and green striped Gucci coat and ran out of his house to look for Jun.
A week flew by and Jun had expected Sho to try to get back at him for removing and replacing all of Sho’s tacky designer furniture items. Aiba was unaware that they were still feuding as they had agreed to not fight in front of Aiba so that one of them would have a chance with Aiba.
Ohno had been working on a project for Sho. He had been sculpting muscular arms for Sho as a gift to wear around Aiba. Sho wanted to use them on Aiba’s upcoming birthday tomorrow, as a way to impress Aiba while also ordering a Hermès suit as a present and a birthday cake for Aiba covered with green and red heart sprinkles with Aiba’s disco star figure displayed on top.
The caption on the cake wrote,
“Happy Birthday my Disco Star”.
Meanwhile, Jun had been baking a strawberry cream cake from scratch following a recipe and had placed candles around his living room to create a romantic atmosphere. Jun was also preparing a steak dinner that he was marinating and picked up an abandoned puppy from the pound to surprise Aiba, since he knew that Aiba loved animals. However, Jun had trouble trying to get the puppy to approach Jun or let him pet it, he knew that once Aiba had arrived, the puppy would feel more comfortable as well.
Jun decided to text Aiba to come over tomorrow night, but wanted to keep it a surprise, and so he told Aiba that he needed help dog-sitting his friend’s dog to convince Aiba to come over. To Jun’s delight Aiba replied yes, and Jun started doing a little happy dance, rolling and twisting his body.
Sho decided to text Aiba next after picking up Aiba’s Hermes tux. It was a satin suit in bright solid lime green and had gold buttons on it.
“He likes green and Hermes… I hit the jackpot.” Sho thought to himself while patting himself on the back. He decided to call Aiba instead at the shopping district.
“Hey Aiba-chan. Are you free tomorrow? I’d like to work on a song with you.”
Sho told Aiba.
“What kind of song? And also I’m only free until 5pm tomorrow if that’s okay. I made plans after that.”
Aiba replied.
“Oh… what plans?”
Sho asked sadly.
“I’m dog sitting. But before that I can help you. I don’t know why you’re coming to me and not Nino for this though.”
Aiba replied with confusion.
“Nino is busy hooking up with riida, besides, I like working with you more. You’re the most fun.”
Sho smiled while speaking softly on the phone.
“Thanks Sho-chan. I appreciate it. Can I come by around noon then?”
Aiba asked gently.
“Whenever you want baby.”
Sho replied smugly.
Aiba giggled on the phone.
“Stop it Sho-chan, you’re going to make me blush. I’ll see you tomorrow okay.”
Aiba replied cheerfully.
“Okay, I’ll miss…”
Sho spoke softly before Aiba had cut him off and ended the call.
“I guess he must’ve been busy.” Sho spoke to himself as he slid his phone back into his pocket and smiled at the thought of Aiba’s voice and seeing him tomorrow.
Suddenly, Jun received a text from Nino.
“Hey Jun, it’s Aiba’s birthday tomorrow and I want to do something for him but I completely forgot. What do you think he’d like that I could get him last minute?”
“Let me guess, something in the Nino budget too right?”
Jun teased in response.
“Obviously but I’m serious. I feel like such a bad friend. I was way too hooked playing Overwatch this weekend and getting it on with Oh-chan and completely spaced out.”
Nino replied.
“You know what could be cute?”
Jun replied after having an epiphany.
“WHAT?! TELL ME? AIBAKA LOVES CUTE STUFF”
Nino texted back.
“You could get him a basketball. The same brand or type he brought in for his audition inn Johnny’s It could be a reminder of how you guys met.”
Jun suggested.
“That’s an amazing idea! Thanks Jun! I won’t prank you this week.”
Nino replied back quickly with smiley faces.
Jun let out a laugh and put his phone away.
The next day, Aiba woke up early and hit the gym. After doing 50 push ups and lifting 150lbs weights, he decided to take a shower and head over to Sho’s house. After showering, he put on his blue Chanel coat over his black Uniqlo jeans and turquoise Hermes sweater. To top it off, He wrapped a black Hermes scarf that shimmered depending on the light. He got in his car and started driving to Sho’s house in the cold winter. Bits of snow fell around him as he drove.
As he arrived at Sho’s house, Sho had stood outside his house holding a box of Louis vuitton chocolates.
“Happy Birthday Masaki!”
Sho waved at Aiba, as Aiba smiled at Sho.
“You remembered!”
Aiba smiled gleefully while running up to Sho. The snow fell in Aiba’s hair as he ran. Sho brushed them out of Aiba’s hair and caressed his cheek.
“There’s more inside. Come in.”
Sho encouraged as Aiba went inside of Sho’s mansion.
After Jun had replaced Sho’s furniture, Sho didn’t have enough time to get everything back, and so he decided to draw on the Gucci symbols back on the walls to keep his sanity in the meantime.
“Why are there crayon drawings of the Gucci symbols on the walls?”
Aiba asked, confused.”
“I’m trying something new…”
Sho lied while gazing at Aiba.
“Interesting choice Sho-chan”
Aiba bit his lip, resisting his urge to laugh.
Sho grabbed Aiba’s hand and pulled him into the living room.
“Wait right here.”
Sho instructed as Aiba sat on Sho’s simple white Ikea couch.
“Is Sho trying a simple lifestyle? Did Nino put him up to this?”
Aiba laughed to himself while looking around the room. When Sho returned, he was holding a big Herme’s box.
“Happy Birthday! I love you.”
Sho declared while handing Aiba the box.
Aiba moved his bangs out of his face and smiled nervously at Sho as he slowly opened the box with slight hesitation.
When Aiba opened it, he squinted his eyes while looking at the color.
“It’s green!”
Was all Aiba could say at first.
“Yeah! Your favorite color. I know you like green and it’s also your member color. I was hoping you could wear it for lunch but what you’re already wearing is so sexy.”
Sho replied while practically drooling at Aiba.
Aiba kissed Sho on the forehead and thanked Sho. Sho pulled Aiba in and kissed Aiba back on the forehead and then leaned in to kiss Aiba on the lips.
At first, Aiba almost seemed receptive, but then at the last second, Aiba pulled away.
“I’m sorry, I can’t do this.”
Aiba cried in Sho’s arms.
“What’s wrong? Do I have something on my face? Do I need more Gucci cologne? Do I smell weird?”
Sho asked in a panic while sniffing himself.
“No… haha it’s not that. You smell like your usual self. Although I prefer your natural scent.”
Aiba spoke flirtatiously.
“Then why can’t we kiss?”
Sho pouted while holding Aiba’s hand.
“I’m in love with Jun…”
Aiba mouthed sadly while looking down at the floor.
Sho felt his heart break as he stood up.
“What happened to us? We were great together. I love you… I don’t want what we have to end.”
Sho cried out at Aiba, tears flowing his cheeks.
Aiba wiped Sho’s tears from his face and kissed him on the cheek.
“I love you too Sho-chan… But I just feel something more with Jun. I’m so sorry. I wish I could do something or say something to make you feel better. I really do. It kills me to see you like this Sho-chan.”
Aiba fell into tears and Sho instinctually held Aiba close.
“I’ll wait for you.”
Sho whispered painfully.
Aiba cried more and pulled Sho in closer.
“I want you to find happiness Sho-chan.”
Aiba spoke tearfully.
“My happiness lies with you.”
Sho replied sadly while kissing Aiba on the head.
“I have one more surprise for you.”
Sho changed the subject while wiping away his tears.
“Now? I feel too guilty to take anything else from you Sho-chan.”
Aiba sighed.
“Just come…”
Sho pleaded while grabbing Aiba’s hand and pulling him into the kitchen.
Aiba’s birthday cake sat on the table.
Aiba slapped his hands on his mouth and screamed joyfully.
“It’s my Disco star pose! This is so cool!”
Aiba cheered while looking at the cake.
“I’m glad you like it. It’s chocolate cake with fresh strawberries inside.”
Sho explained while massaging Aiba’s shoulders.
“I love it, thank you.”
Aiba gleamed at Sho as he hugged Sho.
“Happy Birthday Masaki.”
Sho sighed sadly.
“Happy Birthday Sho”
Aiba replied back without realizing what he had said until a few seconds later.
“Oh wait…”
Aiba laughed nervously as Sho burst into laughter and pulled Aiba in close.
“How are you the cutest human being ever.”
Sho laughed as he kissed Aiba on the forehead again.
“You’re adorable too…”
Aiba reassured Sho while messing up Sho’s hair.
“I should probably get going soon. But thank you for everything Sho… I love you.”
Aiba told Sho with a soft smile and headed out of Sho’s house.
