Soggy bear is soggy
I just got back from reffing Saracens Women II vs Scottish Women II, an OWL 2nd division game. It was a good, close game and much the best women's game I have reffed. The standard of play was really very good, especially in conditions that ranged from drizzle to pissing down. I think I'm getting pretty decent at this reffing thing. If I was younger an faster I could probably be comfortable at a significantly higher level. Physical limitations though mean that isn't going to happen.
Love, love, love the new referee kit for this season. Not only does it look really pretty sharp but it performs really well in a wide range of conditions. It stays surprisingly comfortable in both heat and rain.
