fall is here and i am going home..
Its been a long time since i updated anything on this site. Why ? i am just plain lazy. Let me put it that way. Its been a good summer and i am looking forward to the winter. But before that i am looking forward to a trip back home. To a place where i grew up and which will always be my home irrespective what happens. It will be fun and it will be painful but what the heck..
The summer went by pretty quickly i should say compared to last year. I went to Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park more than 3 times which led to a friend of mine taunting me that i had become a tour guide !! I love taking people to visit these amazing parks. They are so pretty and for people who like to hike and go camping its a perfect place.
These days i am also hooked to Call of Duty!! I am not a big fan of video games but this one has really got me. Also probably because of LAN parties which are held with my colleagues at work.
With regards to music, i am hooked into a group from Finland called Children of Bodom. Amazing band with beautiful riffs. My personal opinion is that they are a mix of iron maiden and dreamtheater.
Sports world is getting hot with American Football getting interesting at both the college and professional level. The baseball season is winding down with the "world" series. It is so funny that they use that term here. Well if world means america , japan and a couple of small nations around america then our atlas's could have been so much smaller. Its a good game mind you but calling it a world series just doesnt make sense. Why not call it a MLB championship or something like that.
American Football, another game which has been criticized by a lot of people of using the word "football" which has its roots in what i have been traditionally following. Again i would emphasize the name "American" before the word football whenever its used.Its funny sometimes to hear comments about this game like " what's so great in people
trying to run from one end to another escaping people ?? ". I always have this thought that statements like these are a result of ignorance about the game and a total disregard to follow new games. This game has a lot of strategy involved and a lot of physical power. To control your emotions after getting totally leveled to the ground and using that emotions to control the actions on the field in a constructive manner.
