another chapter in my life
Well, while im still in a semi-serious mood ( its degenerated alot as expected hah ) I wanted to make a worth while update instead of just writing something semi-humorous. I would like to make a reasonable update.
So a few days ago I felt something I feel every so often. Another chapter in my life has ended, and a new one is just around the corner. I have to say that this last chapter has been one of the best times in my life, actually, the best. Ill use a list per usual to talk about some things.
1. I finally met women that I am attracted to for other reasons than sex for the purposes of a relationship. The last few years I have been rather quiet to my girlfriends when it comes to telling them how I feel about them, mostly because I really didn't like them for who they were. This year one part of that changed, and the other didn't. I met some really cool girls, but I never told them how I felt, so it all pretty much went sour. I am going to try and be more open with my emotions, i really am, as some have seen the last few weeks or so.
2. I accomplished several awesome things when it comes to Magic the Gathering. First by winning Grand Prix: Washington with good friends Chris fennel and Charle "the kid" gindy, and second by placing second at Nationals this year ( 16k =) ). Thanks for all the help guys and hopefully we will see some success at Pro Tour Atlanta =). Also, through this year I have seen that I would like to take this game and other games in general alittle more seriously, and instead of the notion that "im going to take a year off and play games to see what happens", its no longer a pipe dream, im going to do it.
3. good times in general
a. Winter music conference - a few months till the madness begins again =)
b. The Strokes concert
c. thanks giving with my family - everyone is doing alot better or even better
d. Worlds in San Franciso - though i did TERRIBLE, i still had a good time and one of the most beautiful citys in the world
e. Atlanta with the kid - youve been vaporized! my vaporizer sucks =/
4. Things I miss
a. friends from afar - becky, phil, warren, karen: lets drink and be marry =D
b. playing cards with friends casually, we should start it up again
c. some of my old friends that are girls.. but our lives have changed too much

I am single again for the first time in awhile - I am looking forward to this new chapter with open arms =).
