MOVIES GALORE!

Seems like all I've been doing since the year began was watch movies. Here's what I think about the fruit of my gimmick-less-because-it's-been-way-too-cold nights.

THIS MOVIE SUCKS. SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS. I seriously regret wasting $10 on this crap on film because I HATED it. Yeah OK, it's the American version and all that, but really? The plot? Pointless. The suspense? Yawn-fest. This movie was the worst suspense/thriller I've ever seen, and I would not recommend this movie to ANYONE... not even the person I despised the most. This movie... I just... I don't get it. >:X

I'm not even gonna write about this.

NOW THIS MOVIE, I would watch over and over again. Juno is a story about a 16 year-old who experiments with her boyfriend sexually. The result? She gets pregnant. After being guilt-tripped at the local abortion center, Juno decides to keep the baby, and instead find adoptive parents (Jennifer Garner & Jason Bateman) to take the baby come full term.

Ellen Page was such an effective Juno; her character was definitely my favorite because she seemed so real. She was funny, entertaining and cute; the lines that she delivered were so witty yet realistic, and how her character went about her condition just added to her appeal. It's something that happens everyday, and Juno was just like that one girl in your class, meaning, everyone has gone to school with a Juno.

Michael Cera plays Paulie Bleeker, boyfriend of Juno and father of the baby that this movie revolves around. I love this guy. He has this natural comedic tone in his voice that gets my attention everytime. Seeing him in Juno then in SuperBad on DVD actually proved the guy's talent, and I was thoroughly amused. :)

All the other characters in the movie made such an impact to this movie-trip. I love, love, loved it, and I'm not surprised it became America's #1 movie. Now all I can do is cross my fingers and hope Ellen Page wins Best Actress at the Oscars!

This movie will definitely be one of my favorite, favorite, FAVORITE movies. I loved everything about this movie. Will Smith depicts his character so well, and for sure, "The Prince of Bel-Air" has definitely made his mark in the movie industry with this one. The zombie-fighting, dog-loving, mannequin-befriending-then-shooting Robert Neville is not being acted out in the movie; he's IN the movie.

Even though every single scene in the movie including the man, Will Smith was so real, yet so creatively acted. I loved him in this movie. The diversity and versatility as an actor makes him so effective, and the critiques are true: if Robert Neville was acted out by a different actor, it would NOT have been the same.

I give this movie 2 thumbs-up. Definitely.

This movie is extremely cute. I loved it. I watched it while I was on a double-date at the Grove in LA and it really was the perfect night cap to a fun night.

Katherine Heigl does not dissapoint in this movie; as hot as she is in Grey's Anatomy being that she's Izzy, the intern who saved money through modeling, this girl was an absolute mess in the beginning of this movie: so effective! :) A lot of women would find themselves in her in various parts of the movie, but all in all, "Jane" seems to be totally real and relate-able. :)

Opposite Heigl is James Marsden. I love how this guy is slowly creeping up in the silver screen again. He plays Katherine's second love interest in the movie. This man is the cutest thing ever, hands-down. Above everything else, though, he's a really good actor.

Ben Gates, Riley Poole and Abigail Chase are at it again as they fight society's new news: Ben's great greandfather, Thomas Gates, conspired Abraham Lincoln's assassination! This action-packed movie is as thrilling as the first one, and its smart story line kept me at the edge of my seat a lot of the time.

I took my dad out to watch this with me, and we both loved it. Perfect movie for the family! :)
