Walking to university today, I thought quite extensively on how boring Geography was at school. I reached two conclusions on the subject.
1: You do not need an analogy to describe how tedious Geography is. It is precisely as dull as itself.
2: You could compound the mood and level of interest in Geography into one, succinct sales pitch: "This is a rock, and this is what it does all year."
If it still interests you then you're probably called Nigel and I'd rather not talk to you.
Also en route, I saw the strangest thing in the world (or, at least, in Treforest). A mattress in a phone box. Odder still, considering I've been listening a lot to the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy lately, and there is a whole section on mattresses. (they come from Squanchella Zeta, are all called Zem, and spend their time flollopping happily and blowing bubbles)
I feel very queasy today, probably due to being a hypochondriac. Cold now, but sweating. We're supposed to polish off the cider Lee randomly brought t'other day, but I don't feel up to it.
Oh, and the Frenchies are leaving soon. Apart from Julien's disgusting toilet troubles, I will miss them.
Next update may very well be from home.
Incidentally, yesterday I went to Radio and TV Writing, and ended up talking to Rebecca in a cafe for about an hour and a half afterwards. I drank appalling tea and prolongued a desperately-needed pee just to make it last as long as possible. She's like an automatic talking machine, set to "Weird." Worth every giddy moment, even if she is a vegetarian. Poor lass.
