"There's a real world science everywhere / The only absent employee is rational logic"
I am moving into a new house on River Street in Ypsilanti. Last night I went with Legs-topher to deliver some of my goods from KNYC's apartment to our new place and I realized that I had almost completely forgotten that I own things other than my pajamas and a saxophone and a blue bag full of paper and yellow burlap. The best thing I found in my batch of new/old jazz was a picture my grandma painted of two mice in a hot air balloon.
Yesterday, someone at the bookstore suggested that as a tiny finger of residual hurricane touched us in the form of a little rain the other night that we also have the right to begin looting. I think this might be fair.
Thinking about those mice in that hot air balloon suddenly makes me feel like everything is going to be okay.
