HELP! WHENEVER I SAVE YOUR ICONS TO MY COMPUTER, THEY SAVE AS .BMP FILES!
As far as I've seen (and experienced) this happens when the Temporary Internet Files folder is full. You can find it when you go to 'Documents and Settings\User Name\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files'. 'Local Settings' is a hidden folder, so to view it you may have to go to 'Control Panel', 'Folder Options, 'View' and then scroll down. Open the 'Hidden files and folders' folder, and select 'Show hidden files and folders'.
N.B. IT WILL ALMOST CERTAINLY TAKE A WHILE TO LOAD, THERE ARE LOADS OF FILES IN THERE.
If you then sort everything by Size and scroll down to the bottom you will see the biggest files. Start deleting. You don't need to get rid of everything; sometimes I delete everything over 100 KB, sometimes I delete everything over 50 KB.
You should be done! You then go back to the page with the pictures you were trying to save. You will probably have to refresh it a few times, but after that you should be able to save them properly :)
I don't mean for any of that to sound patronising, I'm just never sure how much detail I need to go into when I explain things ;)
Does that help in any way? I'm more than willing to blabber on about why I think this happens etc.
(As a sidenote I LOVE YOU ICONS! They are all so gorgeous, and I love to look at them. In, ya know, a totally non creepy way :P)
