Good for some lulz
I went to White Marsh yesterday to meet up for dinner, and arrived there a little early, so I decided to kill some time by hitting the DDR Extreme machine there. It's the closest extreme machine to me, and it's in very nice shape, and $1 for 5 songs, so why not? Well, I swear I have a curse at that arcade. I was playing my 4th song (Sakura) and a little ways in, a little kid wanders near the pad. I ignore him since he's no walking onto the pad. Until he does step up onto the player 1 side and stands about less than an inch from my legs. As much as it would have been to kick the kid in the face on accident, I decided to be nice and say "get back," at moderate volume just loud enough so the kid could hear the warning. It was not a yell, nor was it in anyway aggressive or with a mean intonation to my voice. Well, I finish the song, and the (world's most ghetto) mother comes up to me.
"YOU BEST 'POLOGIZE FO' YELLIN AT MAH KID!"
"uh, I didn't want him to get hit."
"I WANT YOU TO 'POLOGIZE BOY!!!"
"he was standing dangerously close to me, I was watching out for him"
"APOLOGIZE!!!"
"I didn't yell or curse, I was just making sure he didn't get hit, what did you want me to do, hit him?"

So yeah, I've now officially been physically threatened over DDR. I kinda wish she did get her husband, it would have been even more lulz-tastic, and if he tried anything, there were police officers everywhere. Damn jackasses, sorry I was doing a better job watching out for your child's safety than you were.
