Deebo's Liver
So, Deebo had a biopsy on Wednesday so we could figure out what's going on with him. We got the results back and they still can't pinpoint the problem. I've since been referred to a specialist, and I'm going to be calling them this week for an appointment.
This is so frustrating. Apparently there's something up with Deebo on the inside, but on the outside he appears perfectly healthy and happy. The fact that he's not exhibiting any clinical symptoms whatsoever indicates to me that whatever he has might not be that serious; on the other hand, if he's okay one day and suddenly takes a turn for the worse, I wouldn't know what to do with myself.
Gah!
I know a couple of you have expressed concern for the little guy, and I'm sorry this update isn't the best to hear, but please be assured that Deebo is the same crazy, happy, weird dog he has always been. I'll continue to keep you posted and really hope we'll have a definitive diagnosis soon.
