The Hardest Part

... isn't getting the motivation to exercise.

It's the reality of having to stay away from foods I love that are also really, really bad to eat.

WRY. OH, WRRRYYYYYYY.

YES! I've been "trying" to eat healthier; log my food and calories; and stay away from complex carbs for the past two weeks >_< I think I'm ready now. Ever since NYC, I've been eating really badly. So, I'm done. Time to be good. I'll do this with you in spirit!!! :D

Oh man. I totally feel you. (Although I find it hard to find the motivation to exercise lol) I feel like EVERY DAY I tell myself that I'm going to eat healthier and stop eating so much crap.

...then my mother brings home cookies.

Or I see new pretzel M&Ms (which were fab, by the way)....

askldfjalsdfjasdf. So tonight I was like, "I AM GOING TO EAT AN APPLE. ... and a cookie." >.< Bah.

You can totally do it Annie, you're way strong and can do anything! RAWR!

You don't have to stay away completely, just moderate what and how you eat it. I learned to control the need for cookies, (so hard to eat just one...gawd so hard) but I can't resist cupcakes. Or fries. But I eat them, just not a whole lot of them. Plus, I bet you can make most of them yourself and make them healthier. That's what I'm learning to do with different foods. I can totally eat all the Chinese or pasta I want cause I make it myself and use the healthy options instead of the cheap easy ones.

I'm actually eating more now, but consuming less calories, plus I'm always full. It's actually not as bad as I thought.

On the other hand, when I look at the nutritional breakdown, all I see is carbs. But it's mostly veggies, so I *think* those are the good kinds.

I need to do some research.
