(no subject)
I just spent almost five hours writing a 200-word paper in Spanish. I still have a shit-ton of other school work to do, and it's already nearing eight in the evening. I've been so lazy all day... but I went grocery shopping and baked a quiche, so why can't that just be enough? I still need to read a few chapters for a phonetics exam that's on Friday and which I already failed once; I also need to plan my BA thesis further because I have a meeting with the professor tomorrow.
Speaking of the BA thesis... I know it wasn't his intention, but the prof managed to completely discourage me during our previous class. I had been somewhat excited about the whole thing until then but now I'm freaking out and very discouraged and meh. I've also realized I don't have a thesis statement, which is A Very Bad Thing according to every "academic writing for idiots" website I've visited. We'll see how tomorrow's meeting goes... not very brightly, I'd assume.
