Stephen and Harmony Clock celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Sunday, simday 28. Married in a very small and private ceremony on simday 3, the happy couple has seen their share of good times and bad. Their love has seen to the birth of their 6 children, and if they had it their way they'd have at least 4 more! Together, they have battled and conquered numerous kitchen (and tree) fires, burglars, repo-men and aliens. And on this happy and momentous occasion, the Clocks hit the town for a special anniversary date night.
The first stop on their date night is at The Blueberry Bakery, owned by their good friend Celia Gates. Espresso and pie are always a good way to kick off a date. The couple finds a candlelit table and sit down to reminisce about their 25 simdays together....aliens and all.
While at the bakery, they also run into Lucy Wells, a newcomer to Little Hollywick. Harmony also decides to buy some champagne and a pretty anniversary cake for later. In the meantime, Stephen chats it up with some townie who then asks if he can set Stephen up on a blind date right then and there. Good thing he said "No thanks" or he'd be on the couch tonight.
Next stop is The Zebra Room, a nightclub owned by Harvey Dingle. Harmony is a little frightened when she sees Harvey Dingle the evil warlock staring at her through the taxi cab's tinted windows. She just looks straight ahead and pretends not to notice his stalkerish-ness. Stephen, on the other hand, is thinking about how happy he is to be married for 25 wonderful simdays to such a beautiful and amazing woman. Awww, how sweet!
After a quick drink at the bar, the lovebirds head to the dance floor for some slow dancing. They don't care that the DJ is playing hip-hop music, or that everyone else is doing the smustle. They only have eyes for each other, and the rest of the world just disappears.
They decide to sit the next song out and cuddle on the red leather couch. You'd swear these two were crazy-in-love teenagers, and not old married folk.
They head home at the end of the night, tip the babysitter, and put the kids to bed. Then comes the really romantic stuff. Cake, champagne, and lots of fireworks...
So, please raise your glass in a toast to Stephen and Harmony Clock. Here's wishing them a very happy 25th anniversary. May they have another 25 as full of love and happiness as the first!
