Two weeks from tomorrow I will be home for summer!!! I'm so excited...I just have so much to do between then and now its a little disgusting. But oh well, because I seriously can't wait. For the first time all year I will have a real boyfriend for more than a few days. And I'm pretty much determined that its going to be the best summer ever. So yeah...excitement!
My birthday was last week and it was excellent. As most of you know I'm pretty much a birthday freak, but I wasn't looking forward to it as much this year because I was away from home and thought it would just be low key. Butttt I have the best friends ever and they had lots of surprises and it was so awesome and I love them all. Then last weekend was Easter, so my mom and sister came up to visit and that was very fun too of course.
School is going really well class wise too. I'm doing well in all my classes...hopefully the same is true for finals! I seriously can't wait to be done for some reason...I think its just because its been SO long since I've been home for a good amount of time, and even though I love living here, it will be nice to have the comforts of home and small town life for a while. Somehow I got all the classes I wanted for next semester, but I got totally screwed over with housing. Oh well...I'm trying to make the best of it. And I still have a kitchen so I can make my own food which makes me smile. This weekend is Springfest (various campus activities and a concert with Nas, Lupe Fiasco, Gym Class Heroes, and RJD2) and next weekend is my last weekend here as well as the Guster concert, so I'm pumped all around. I guess thats all thats going on in my life right now. Oh yeah, and if anybody knows a place that is hiring, I need a job real bad so let me know please!
