Somehow I managed to not pay my water bill for the past two months. WTF?? How did that happen? I'm so anal retentive about money. I get seriously tense when the slightest thing is off in my checkbook, or a bill deadline approaches and I haven't paid it yet. I am nearly obsessive about finances...so this is just making me sick to my stomach. Stupid, stupid. :(
Pool fence guy came and measured. We ordered the fence. $1,159.79. Ugh...I don't understand why it costs so much for a few steel poles and some mesh. But in the long run it will save us money because it will comply with the Florida pool enclosure law and we won't have to replace our yard fence that was destroyed in the hurricane - we'll just tear down the remaining panels.
And a stupid hypothetical question. (This is truly hypothetical. Our house doesn't run this way. I don't even know why I was thinking about it.)
Say a husband was responsible for taking out all the garbage, and a mother was responsible for all aspects of childcare. Who would empty the diaper pail?
