Perfecting Plaid:
The plaid look doesn’t ONLY mean a long sleeve oversized flannel shirt, as donned by Mary-Kate in my previous post. Taylor Momsen works in the plaid with a fitted dress. She’s had a similar outfit twice on the Gossip Girl series. And I mean, if it’s on Gossip Girl, it’s hot.
And you can rock it too! Here’s a totally similar fashion, and it’s waay cheap (just click on it):
The look works great for guys too, especially toned down under a blazer like the beautiful Penn Badgley:

Oh, and WALK OF SHAME no more! The best part about the plaid shirt trend is that you can get one for your guy, and borrow it for yourself. Lindsay Lohan utilizes a leather jacket to get a more badass chic look:
Working Wayfarers:
Jessica Alba proves just how fabulous Ray Bans can look. I mean seriously. Who DOESN’T want to wear Ray Bans after seeing this picture. Can you say Cabana boys?
Even the gorgeous Robert Buckley has a classic pair of Ray Bans. I’m sure if you did too, it would be great small talk if you happen to ever run into him… Hopefully leading to you know, like marriage.
Yeah, speaking of Robert Buckley, let’s just look at him some more…

Christina Aguilera below works the entire 90’s look. Large shades, flannel shirt, and leather.
