Part of me wishes...
I could have written for Yuletide this year, but I don't take time for fannish things like I used to. All the writing energy kind of goes into the book now and though there are many shows and movies I still like(Bridesmaids was finally awesome!) I've not seen anything in a while where I felt canon left something *unsaid*, unless there are other people watching stuff from their youth they haven't seen who:
a. include "Thirtysomething"
2. kind of notice a slashy vibe between Ellyn/Melissa
(And even I don't really care enough to write that story, so long after the fact. But someone could have...maybe she did, the internet being what it is and all.)
As for the book, it is coming along, but at times feels more like a housing remodel than an emotional or artistic achievement. Did have a little hot streak earlier in the week, which has cooled considerably.
