We can haz HBO
We got it Friday...I wasn't sure it was worth a post, but you know: we got a deal and stuff, it's cool.We also got on Demand, which is more like "HBO: Capricious" here, but I've been catching up on stuff.(Curb Your Enthusiasm yesterday, Entourage this morning...they're both good.) I think Curb is hilarious, although sometimes I'm afraid of how much I relate to Larry's craziness.
Ironically, I think Turtle is getting the best "stuff" this time...they are doing a great job of letting him grow, but in ways that are "Turtle-ish"
Vince's hair is way too short, but of course, he's always cute. I'm glad that Shauna is back...she's really awesome.
Still haven't got the EQ contract yet, and am starting to think the New Mobility book review kind of fell down a wormhole or something, but I've never been especially patient...that's why it's funny to me when people equate my disability with some kind of Zen wisdom...there are people like that out there, but I am not one. It was nice that Josie was so psyched about it that she showed it to her boss so i'm trying to just focus on that, because I don't really know what their lead time is anyway, and it is the sort of thing that could get pushed aside for breaking news.
I had a few other things in mind for them, but I'm not really chomping at the bit to write them anymore to be perfectly honest. I will, and they'll be fine, but I don't have the grade-grubber with her hand raised feeling about them.
Trying to pretend I'm stoked about these early mornings again as "writing time", but I don't know.I don't really have the urge right now...my urges never work when they'd be most convenient.
