DAY 1:
Show that shouldn't have been canceled.
Man, there are so many. "Sports Night", "My So-Called Life", "Cupid"(which I'll discuss in a sec)
but the one I'll remember as it happened was "I'll Fly Away" which was kind of like Sam Waterston playing Atticus Finch in, iirc, '50s Georgia somewhere. Great acting, including from some good teen actors, and I'm sad I couldn't find a good clip. I think I had a bit of a crush on the brother. Also, Freedom Rides and stuff pull at my heartstrings...always have, always will.
About Cupid...I missed it while it was on, like millions. And every time I heard about it, the Brilliant but Canceled hype got bigger and bigger and bigger till I watched it on You-Tube to prove that nothing could be that fricking good. But here's the thing...it totally is.(Jeremy Piven gets to smile, not just show his teeth, like with Ari.This is incredibly sexy, absolutely cementing my crush on him.)
And I love Paula Marshall for being sexy and credible as a shrink at the same time. She has great lips. Is that a weird thing to say about another person?
