Lunch out today(Gift card + Mom's tax refund)...nice day, copious shrimp.
Bad news is, though that my television stopped accepting a remote yesterday(we know cause "broken" remote works decently on other TV.(Phillips and magnavox have some sort of partnership, which I post in case you hate programming as much as I do. And it makes selecting stuff easier if you only look at Phillipses and Magnavoxes.)
But it really blows, the remote thing, because I really can't get up and change the channel, so this means no Joel McHale repeats, KOTH Adult Swim, or Criminal Intent in the middle of the night(still prefer Logan to D'Onofrio, Master Thespian, although I think Eames is a better partner than the twelve-year-olds Mike gets partnered with.(although I'd love it if they were both on at the same time, all "We're very pretty," but I think the audience for that joke is me and fiorituranotte So I watch both.
C'mon, life, cut me a minor break. Broken brain AND sleeping alone, here.

And I can let myself off the hook for breaking the remote...that TV goes back to the Clinton era and my dad talking to me, so it has to be between twelve and fifteen. Dad took me to Costco and helped me shop for it...it lasted longer than our relationship.
