A few words about this piece: it's a huge file, and LJ has obviously resized it, but I don't think that's a problem.
Regarding the process, I sketched it first (after seeing a picture that I used as reference, but I can't find it because I can't remember if it's a picture I saw on the Internet or if it's a picture that I actually saved on my computer. Image folder is 3GB in size, so I haven't had the time to look through them all). Anyway, I sketched it, scanned it, and colored it with the help of my mouse pad (on my laptop) and the online photo editor Pixlr. I almost lost my arm.
This is the first sketch that I've colored digitally from scratch. I have recolored some stuff when I played around on Adobe Photshop back when I was young, but this is the first time I've done something like this, which shows, particularly in the highlightning and shadowing. There's gotta be at least five light sources in that room, all pointed at him -.-
I was going to add the cookie jar, but I didn't have the time, so, no cookie jar. The cookie jar is off-screen.
As I've mentioned before, I had done some other sketches for my big bang, but I haven't colored them. I might. In the future, when I've gotten myself a graphic tablet :)
