i'm in a constant state of itchyness
things are moving now, lots to get done. these past weeks in review:
* saw the biggest rattler ever, prohibiting eric and i to continue a hike. we very shrewdly decided to throw stones and sticks at it to move, but it only coiled up at us and we had to turn around and hike back. yesterday though, we had a more successful hike, about a 9 mile one. all was well till the very tale end when i got attacked my a crew of yellow jackets that actually brought me to tears. those little mothers hurt.
* my birthday was fun, but i have had little chance to enjoy my new found privelages as a 21 year old. i do recommend a sour apple martini, that was my first legal drink and it was yuuuummmmy.
* had a nasty case of poison ivy which is still not completely healed. recieved it after losing my paddle boating and scaling the vertical bank in order to get help. those rapids beat my ass. but i went out again the next day to conquer my fears and finished successfully (i only fell out twice but managed to hold onto my paddle and my boat).
* the body funk isn't over though. i have chiggers on my stomach and back. and some nasty ringworm or poison something on my foot which i think has spread to another part of my leg. my skin has never felt so helpless.
* killed another mouse in the trailor. their cute until their poo is all over your personal stuff.
* i discovered a new favorite food. cucumber, tomato, and feta salad with a red wine vinagrette dressing. fabulous.
well, i guess that's all the good stuff. eric and i are leaving hartford tomorrow after work to go to marietta and get invitations and address together and to plan my sister's baby shower. then we're going to athens to find jobs and on to auburn, alabamba to visit with eric's family. dooo do do doo do, i'm luvin it.
