ah! how could i leave this out:
and this evening @ about 5:40pm MY RAT pressed the lever BY HIMSELF!!! *and the crowd goes wild* as well they should!!! it was like i saw THE moment where his little synapses rearranged. i think i experienced the kind of miraculous awe people usually reserve for describing things like watching a live birth. i mean i SAW the rat LEARN (wow, i think it probably requires a hardcore science background and/or experience with rats to fully appreciate this. everyone else please forgive me, lol).
