New Orleans Shall Rise Again- Tulane spring semester Jan17
I have rediscovered the fact that I have a livejournal, mostly due to the fact that I'm sitting in an office in DC all day with little or nothing to do unless the boss is in which she isn't, but the like 12$ per hour is pretty sweet. So let's see things that are new....oh well I have no school this semester that's been fun. I have like 3 friends at home who sometimes take pity on me and spend time with me. Other than that it's my family, whom I love but are getting annoyed with me. I did however spend a blissful week in OR with the love of my life (so far) mostly because we have AMAZING naked moments and quite a few romantic ones also, too bad he's staying there. Don't I just have the best of luck?? So I've decided I need to go on a random first date...not sure how to make this happen. comments? suggestions?
About an hour and a half until mom and I go home.....a 2 hour commute when you factor in traffic. As of wednesday I need to find another job. Mara said she might be able to get me one at the tavern she works at...must look into that. I need to get out some, I should probably wait until I get paid though. The last time I saw a movie was with Erica (tear) my roomie in New Iberia where we had evacuated to stay with her grandparents. PS the day before the hurricane we spent the day in the pool playing chicken and marco polo, crazy new orleanians. Anyway we saw the skeleton key and then talked about the few mistakes they made with NOLA geography and whatot. FUCK I want to be back at Tulane so bad...I fear my tolerance is dropping. Oh well the sisters will have it back up in no time, gotta take care of the pledge bitches!! And of course I still have New Year's at the lake. If anyone has any plans to come home please call me before I decide to slit my wrists or become a huge slut.
