OK, here's my new update on what's been going on this summer.
1. I've been at the aquarium in Baltimore since after Memorial weekend. While the commute is a pain in my ass (I can't wait for the day I can afford my own car!) I love it up there so much. Everyone in the education department makes me fall over laughing, which is helpful when you're working with ignorant people all day. Another annoying thing - the 10 page paper I have to write on the internship. I'm not disciplined enough right now to write a whole paper.
2. Back at the Council office downtown. It's not as fun anymore, it's really slow-paced compared to the aquarium. But it's money. Hey, at least I'm excellent at dealing with pissed off residents over the phone. But between the job and the internship, I'm always exhausted and half the time I'm asleep by 10 or 11. Sad, I know.
3. Yet I still have plenty of time to see people, which has been really enjoyable. Highlight so far - going to a gay club with Allison. Unfortunately there were still creepy straight guys, vom. The whole Tysons trip with James and Meaghan is a close second. Oh, and drunk Uno with Anna and Yanhom. My next goal is to convince someone to accompany me to the only lesbian bar in the entire damn city in SE...which has lead me to a new conclusion - I need more GLBT friends.
4. As always, I'm already bored with being home and waiting for my return to Florida.
5. As always (again), the relationship forecast is unchanged.
