Question on walking directions

Jun 12, 2009 14:15

Hello Chicago oracle,

I'm new to the area and live in the suburbs. I have an appointment at the USCIS center which is located at 101 West Congress Parkway. Google Transit says it's a 13 minute walk from the Chicago Union Station.

I'd like to find out whether that's actually walkable (i.e. pedestrian traffic lights/crossing, sidewalks that don't end abruptly, etc), so that I know whether I should be calling a taxicab instead.

Thanks in advance!
