Looking for an excellent person to hem jeans
I just bought a pair of expensive designer denim jeans and although I didn't pay full price for them (yay for Nordstrom Rack) I'd still like them to look nice.
I've never had jeans hemmed before and I admit I'm rather hesitant to just take them to my dry cleaner or pick a random name out of the phone book. I'm worried they'll come back looking stupid or too short.
So, have any of the women here ever had a pair of jeans hemmed and had really good results? I have a car so I'm willing to drive if the place isn't near me. I just want someone who does a really, really good job and that you can personally vouch for. Pictures of your hemmed jeans would also go along way in selling me on trusting a particular tailor/seamstress.
