You know what's awesome? The Sarah Jane Adventures. That's awesome.

Slightly more coherent thoughts:
- I love that they're continuing to keep Luke as a presence in the show. Fabulous. And him screwing with Clyde's head about his new friends: SOCUTE. They're so in love.
- I do not understand why UNIT sent out a fully-armed guard to inform Sarah of the Doctor's death. Just to give the neighbors something to gossip about? It seems a bit overkill.
-- Also I remain A Bit Sad over the UNIT rename to "Unified" Intelligence Taskforce. Curse you, United Nations, why would you not want to be associated with Doctor Who?
- Lis Sladen's expression at the end of the pre-credit sequence is...really odd. I've no idea what she was going for there. Maybe it was the lighting?
- OH SARAH. Refusing to believe the Doctor's dead. Judging the Shansheeth on their looks just 'cause they're saying something she doesn't want to be true. Getting upset when Rani calls her on it. Leading Luke to say she's gone nuts. Awww.
- Not to mention Rani clinging to her dad, which just...broke my heart. :(
- Also, OH CLYDE, rockin' the skipping school thing. In your posh motor.
- LIZ SHAW IS ON THE MOON. :D :D :D
- And then of course we come to JO. JO JONES NÉE GRANT. Still a ROCKSTAR, I see. I love that her life has been amazing since she left; I love that she loves her husband and she has a big, sprawling family and she travels the world PROTESTING; I love that she gushes over how 'gorgeous' the Shansheeth are and gets all excited about being in trouble again and says 'groovy'.
- Also I love how awkward and embarrassed Rani and Clyde get in the face of Santiago's exciting life. And then it is reversed when all the alien stuff starts going down and he's left going all "Wait what?" and "OMG I always wanted to meet the Doctor :|" WELL NOW YOU CAN, SANTIAGO JONES whose last name may not be Jones, IDK, do we know that, did I miss his last name being stated on screen or is it left ambiguous?
- AND AND AND Jo and Sarah fangirling all over each other and bonding over Peladon and oh. So much cute.
-- AND THEN Jo is all feeling sad because the Doctor's visited Sarah whereas she's never seen him again OH JO HE LOVES YOU TOO I PROMISE ♥♥♥
- MATT SMITH I LOVE YOU AND I MISSED YOU AND I WANT MORE OF YOU ON MY SCREEN NAO PLS.
- I hope tomorrow they address where Amy and Rory are during all this. I'm still rooting for "space honeymoon".
- OH CLYDE they must rescue him because that was a bit ill-thought-out, Doctor, he is not equipped to handle alien environments like you are.
- Jo and the Doctor ribbing on each other's (apparent) ages. EEEEE.
