I love Adelle, omg. Also Topher. Also Adelle and Topher in a scene together.
"It could also give him a man-reaction."
"I choose not to hear that."
Also:
"Topher has ethical problems. Topher."
I like that they finally took some time to explain the more pedantic bits of the Dollhouse, like how they get the Actives dressed appropriately for missions. "I won't even do this for my wife."
The dialog was very...Jossish this week. I mean moreso than usual. I don't know what I mean.
Ballard being relieved to go interrogate a serial killer rather than continue to help Kiki!Echo with her wardrobe was adorable and one of those few moments I actually liked him.
Oh, Adelle. NEVER DEFER TO BALLARD. HE'S AN IDIOT.
...Kiki!Echo triggers my embarrassment squick. D:
"I'm not weird."
"No. No, you're weird. What you're not is special."
I realize that Terry is a serial killer and a sociopath and a monster and I have no sympathy for him, but while he's in Victor's body my gut reaction is to Not Like Ballard yelling at him.
The Dollhouse has the worst security ever omg Boyd why haven't you fixed that yet.
IF ONLY CLAIRE HADN'T LEFT. NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED.
Boyd's dry, unsurprised "Ah" to Topher's babbling serial-killer-on-the-loose explanation is the BEST THING EVER.
...well, that was unexpected. DNW Terry!Echo. :/
...although Kiki!Victor is worse. D: My embarrassment squick can't take this. (Also, I don't think the technobabble explanation works. Did it make sense to anyone else?)
The ending was a bit anticlimactic. Are we going somewhere with Composite!Echo or just suggesting at it for another couple seasons?
Two weeks from tonight looks like it will be AWESOME, and three weeks from tonight MORE FIREFLY ALUMNI, so, yay.
