September is here....
Yup, it's the final stretch...not only in Baseball but at work too...LOL.
Work: It is the last month of the fiscal year and we are making a final push to meet our numbers. So far it seems we will hit above the mark, so our efforts in the Hispanic market have not gone in vane.
Baseball: Well the Angels managed to get back another game from the A's last night. It was certainly a close game and I am SO proud of Lackey for giving the team a chance to win, as he has done many times this season, with 7 innings of shutout ball. I don't want to speculate on the outcome of the remaining games in the season...I just want the boys to do well! OH and I REALLY want Vlady to hit HR 300 already.
I can't wait to see the boys that will be trickling in from the minors as September call-ups are underway. However, I am still hopeful that the Stingers make it to the playoffs. Jennifer just informed me this morning that they are only 2 games behind the first place team, so with 5 games remaining...anything is possible. As for the Travs...they have already clinched...woohoo!
Coming up: I will be hitting the sweltering heat of Vegas once again in a couple weeks...unfortunately, this time around it won't be for pleasure. We have an event for Hispanic Consumers taking place out there so Mary and I will be on-site to assist and promote.
