1.) Where did you ring in the new year? Chicago, Spank Rock, my sister, bobby forest, marquina...hey, this will be my second new year's eve partyin' it up with her i never thought out of all those people it would be her!
2.) What was your status by Valentine's Day? deathly ill in Ethiopia
3.) Were you in school (anytime this year)? for a few months of it...took time off to travel
4.) How did you earn your keep? MTV Espana english tutor, part-time librarian-Brighton District Library (6ths)
full-time gangsta at Queens Library (3 weeks and counting!)
5.) Did you have to go to the hospital? oh yeah (see #5)
6.) Did you encounter the police? no i was a good girl this year
7.) Where did you go on vacation? ethiopia, barcelona, berlin/liepzig, london, seattle, portland, bend, OR
8.) What did you purchase that was over $500? my new laptop, several plane tickets
9.) Did you know anybody who got married? nope
10.) Did you know anybody who passed away? my favorite aunt...i never got to say goodbye :( and james brown and gerald ford (we were all really tight)
11.) Have you run into anybody you graduated high school with? too many to count when i lived in ann arbor
12.) Did you move anywhere? Yes, to the happiest (and most fucked up) place on earth
13.) What sporting events did you go to? Barcelona foooooooootball
14.) What concerts did you go to? Saian Supa Crew, Jamie Lidell, and De La Soul in SPain (all amazing!). Some famous euro band in Liepzig forgot the name Pitchfork Music Festival w/ Brendan Ashley, and Brian
15.) Are you registered to vote? yes, in Michigan
16.) If so, did you do your patriotic duty on Nov. 7? of course!!! that was a sweeping victory!
17.) Where do you live now? (Greenpoint) Brooklyn, NYC...where old men sing and pee in the street!
18.) Describe your birthday: fought with Rachel for the first time ever i think (over something REALLY fucking dumb), dinner at felix, hung out with Brendie, Martin, and co.

20.) What is one thing you regretted this year? In africa i regretted not going as a "free agent" so i could hook up with nils guilt-free. my whole affair with him turned out to be a huge regret. It was a no win situation!
