Greatest advice evar (yes, with an a):

The word 'love' doesn't mean anything. Not until you find the emotion will it last for when a man and a women fall in true love they will stay that way forever.

A pair of powerful spectacles has sometimes sufficed to cure a person in love.- Nietzche

What a man tells you doesn't matter, its what he feels that does. You will never truly know if he loves you or not until you find out how to know what he is thinking. You have to know him better then he knows himself.

Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies.
-Aristotle

Love can often be miscalculated for any given number of emotions from infatuation to lust. When you really love someone you don't love the new experiences he or she gives you, you love EVERYTHING about them.

Loving is not just looking at each other, it's looking in the same direction.
-Antoine de Saint-Exupery

Finally, you don't need love to hinder you right now. You have what? More then fifty years ahead of you to find the 'one'. Now that you've had an appetizer of love you're going to want more, its a true fact of life, but you must not indulge yourself and dig a deep emotional hole. Think about how much this relationship changed you and what it caused you to do, that rush of emotions isn't what someone our age needs. We need stability.
