you know, it's amazing the amount of people who applaud someone who waits till marriage. on a wedding forum i was on (actually still am, can't seem to leave it, and i've been married a year lol!) were amazed by me and another christian girl who waited for sex. they all said they'd never done it, but were in awe that we could wait, and that it was a good thing.
i don't see why waiting has so many negative connotations to it. because i totally believe that the first time you have sex - it's not gonna be mind blowing. but you work it out together. and it's fun to do that. you have your whole lives together - you and your husband, and you have a great time learning about your body and each others and it's awesome. but i'm soooo glad i never had sex with anyone but my husband, and i'm glad i waited till i was married.
and i do wish that was shown more often than it is.
(hehe do u watch private practice? they had a story this week of a couple who took a purity pledge and on their wedding day, he took a few too many viagra - and had to have minor surgery to get it down so to speak lol! then turns out SHE never waited, she was pregnant! whatever happened to showing something positive there? both waiting? but nope, gotta throw something else in the mix there hey.)
