My cheesy new years post?
Yes... so I'm bored and this is what I feel like doing.
Okay.. so yeah. Happy new years everyone! :D I must say I'm sad to see 2007 go.. because SO much happened in the summer.. and a few more things happened in the fall/winter. ;D I think most of you know what I'm talking about. My biggest pride for 2007 is definitely the Potter Party at Casa Loma. I wish we'd like.. taken video documentation of the whole thing. hahahaha. That would've been excellent. But we didn't.. but it's still cool. We have lots of photos to remember the event. I looooove all my volunteers and I hope we never lose touch in the coming years. <333 That event really taught me a LOT though.. I made mistakes, I took chances.. some wise, some unwise, but I learned sooo much and I loved every second of the process.
As for my spiritual walk.. that went okay too. I learned to rely on God a LOT for the Potter Party. In fact, it almost didn't happen, but God is good and He gave us that chance and I thank God with all my heart for the experience. I still need to read the bible more.. lool it's so bad. :x God forgive me.. but I'll try harder this year. I've got to. My knowledge of God's word shames me and I need to fix that. ^^;
Then.. there's.. the rest of my life. I think most of you know of the emotional drama I went through over the spring/summer and I'm glad that thing's over with. I do feel it was SUPPOSED to happen though. I feel wiser for it, and I cherish wisdom very, very highly (another reason why I NEED to read the bible more). Most of you also know of the other big change in my life that occurred around the end of 2007.. ;D That's given me something of an adventure to look forward to in this year of 2008.. and I have soo many plans to look forward to this year.. namely WROCK THE BOAT!! :D! Oh gosh I can't wait for it.
For you my brothers and sisters in Christ, please keep me in your prayers. Please pray for the "job" aspect of my life! haha! I need to find a good temporary full-time job this summer, and then a good permanent job to start up either at the end of this year, or the beginning of next year. OR I could just get a really good permanent job that'll let me have at least 1 week off in the fall for the cruise. So yeah.. job hunting time. So scary!! :( University is one thing... a job is totally different. @_@
