Actually, my ipod never died... but according to my computer, it did. Never showed up in iTunes. One night it worked, the next, it failed to appear. I have NO clue of what happened. None of my song files are corrupt. I run frequent virus scans so I should know this. Anyway, I downloaded a new software that's specifically used for iPods. BUT, I also had to completely format my iPod, which sucks, because now I basically have to re-rip every CD I had originally ripped. *sigh* BUT I'm not complaining too much, because my iPod can have NEW SONGS AGAIN! yay!! ^__^
