From Monday-Wednesday of this past week, I attended the Re-contracting Conference in Kobe, which was a conference for all JET ALTs in West Japan going into their second year on the program. Holy crap. It's already been a year? :O I'm glad to hear that you're still enjoying it, I love hearing about your adventures, and that you care so much about the students is really touching- I think you definetly deserve to be there. :D

No. YOU'RE the coolest.
It is always lovely to see you. You're one of my favorite people in Japan, so I hope we don't go another 8 months without hanging out. When your sister's in town we'll get a posse together.
I'm sorry to hear about Kana's Mom. High School is difficult enough without that kind of tragedy bearing down on a young person. I hope she has a good support system. Gambatte, B.
