(no subject)
haven't done this update thing in forever, mostly in part due to my entire list of friends on this livejournal thing has moved on to bigger better things, aka, myspace. oh well, lj gets my vote.
summer's been great, hanging out with friends everyday and i even managed to meet a few new ones. going into senior year in high school i told myself that i was gonna make this the best damned year ever and i'd get through it without regret and that i'd never look back and ask myself "what if". well, so far so good i'd say.
i was just talkin about this kinda thing to friends of mine the other day actually. first off, our time has passed, and there's nothing more we can add to the story of our high school years, i've gotten over that for the most part. another thing is that believe it or not, the good friends that you have now, the moment they leave this place and step foot into their dorm rooms, well, they'll never be the same. THIS will never be the same. sure, we'll all get back together during the summers, but in all reality, just hangin out with nothing to do won't be as comfortable as it is now. kinda sad and exciting in a way.
enough of that downer stuff, going rock climbing aug 9th-13th and then skydiving on the 19th!
talk about a memorable summer right?
