Ben Folds is hereby cleared in the matter of breaking my MiniDisc player.

Sick as a...sick thing recently. Bad, bad headcold right after Thanksgiving. Just in time for the beautiful weather! I was feeling a bit better today (I think it was partly because I finally figured out that my MD player? Not broken. The rechargeable battery is just dead. So MD player is A++ can use again.) and walked two miles in a t-shirt and thin jeans. Absolutely exhausted and coughing by the end, but it was so warm and gorgeous.

Thanksgiving was actually kind of nice, if you excused my mother going to the hospital right before Thanksgiving dinner. She has SVT (basically, short periods of rapid heart rate) and was hospitalized last Tuesday as well (she was at work and her nurses bullied her into it). I went with Mom and Dad and waiting in the cold waiting room, pretending to read 1491 but was really hypnotized by Cold Case Files on A&E. Hospitals + Holidays = OTP! Overall, I didn't eat much (yes!), didn't talk to many people (no!), and thought that Bravo's 100 Funniest Movies list was totally wrong. (Animal House is not the funniest movie ever. Also, Ben Stiller was heavily overrepresented.)

Since Thanksgiving, have watched all aired episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender (distance between Thanksgiving location and home: 3 episodes and five minutes). Fabulous show. New obsession. Season two finale airs Friday and OH GOD ALL MY FRIENDS DON'T HAVE CABLE I HAVE TO WAIT FOR DOWNLOAD. *wibble*

The Amazing Race: I was all prepared to love me some Lyn/Karlyn because of fabu navigation...but then they had to be all hypocritical about the Yield. Noooo! Also, the non-elimination ending was totally obvious. But next week people throw apples at Kimberly? I'm there!

Heroes: Last two episodes have been totally yawn-inducing.

Studio 60: Has gotten so, so incredibly bad. But did I...actually enjoy this week's episode? GASP!

Friday Night Lights: MATT. *huggles Matt* Oh, Smash. *huggles Smash* How much do I adore Jason Street? I love me some Six! Also, Coach as Daddy and promised Matt/Julie action. This show continues to rule.

Bones: I am convinced that this show exists only because the UST between Booth and Bones keeps it afloat. I watched two episodes tonight and both times the murderer was really, really obvious.

Also, did we just get a new head football coach? Hunh. Okay then. Carry on.

the amazing race, i r teh smrt, avatar: the last airbender, family reunions suck, friday night lights, football, heroes, studio 60
