I'm starting to hope for a Roseanne finale.
Everyone, I don't even know how to feel anymore. I just watched the Detroit Tigers blow a 4 run lead in the bottom of the 8th when (of course!) our highly-erratic closer gifts the Red Sox's star player with a fastball so that he could have a grand slam. Next inning, the Tigers lost. I was incredibly crushed.
And then I watched the new The Legend of Korra episode. And it was so. Much. Worse.
Oh, man. Oh, MAN. I think Korra may have decided that jumping the shark is for people who don't try to BLOW THAT FUCKING SHARK UP, because "The Sting" was like that time when my family was traveling west for a family thing and there were accidents EVERYWHERE. I mean, we got on the highway on this ramp that's actually two ramps merging so it's really long, and we couldn't even get on the first part of the ramp without stop-and-go traffic. And then it was spinout after rollover after rear-ender after OMG WTF happened there. And I was so glad I wasn't driving because I was rubbernecking like crazy.
That's why I'm going to watch until the end of Book 2. Now that the show has totally destroyed the two characters I actually care about (Asami and Bolin), I'm incredibly curious as to how low this shit can go. FEED ME, SEYMOUR. I NEED TO SEE MORE CARS ON FIRE.
