The Spanish website
Crossed Destinies is organizing the I Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE COMmeMORATiVE Day, a global event to celebrate the 7th Anniversary of Tsubasa's serialization and 1st Anniversary of its ending.
From their press release:
For the 7th anniversary of the start of Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE serialization and the first after the manga has ended and the release in Spain of volume 28 on May 6th, Crossed Destinies wants to announce the I Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE COMmeMORATiVE Day on May 21st, 2010. After selling more than 20 millions of volumes throughout the world and becoming CLAMP's most famous manga, this day has been chosen as an homage to Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE throughout the world. Many organizations, associations and fan clubs will collaborate to make many kinds of non-profit activities related to the series. In a similar way that happened with other manga, such as Ai Yazawa's NANA in the NANA Day (7/7/2007), the idea is that all the fans around the globe make activities to remember TRC. For that purpose, at Crossed Destinies we're providing all fans and associations the necessary help to administer and organize all the activities and events, updating the list of cities and activities daily.
As for us, in collaboration with the bookstore "Casa del Libro" in Málaga (Spain), we're going to make an screening with Tsubasa OADs (not licensed in our country) subbed in spanish, and also make a trivia with exclusive prizes, a Q&A panel and other activities.
Celebrating the 7th anniversary of the start of the serialization of Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, and the first anniversary after the manga ended, Crossed Destinies wants to announce the I Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE COMmeMORATiVE Day on May 21st, 2010.

Our idea is similar to the Nana Day (7/7/2007) events, were multiple associations and fan clubs around the world organized activities and little conventions related to Ai Yazawa's manga. Some of them even had the support of publishing companies and others. Maybe we can't strive to organize something like this (mostly due to the lack of time Y_Y), but anything we can do will be a great step to remember this manga we all love *_*
How can I participate?
- If you want to be an organizer:
This day is open for all the TRC fans worldwide no matter their language or nationality. Because of that we call all associations, publishing companies, comic stores, companies in general and groups of fans to collaborate and organize activities throughout the world on May 21st (Friday): panels, screenings, trivia, karaoke/cosplay contests or any other activity will link us as fans in this special day ^^ It's a shame that we've come with this idea with so little time >_< but if you can collaborate in any way with this day, we'll help you in any way possible to do the activities you want to do.
You can send anything to our e-mail (crosseddestinies@gmail.com): questions, doubts, suggestions or any activity you want to do. We will be updating the main poster and the news page at Crossed Destinies listing all activities in every city. For this, we highly recommend using the Photoshop template available: you only need to edit the yellow post-it with your activities ^^ and if you can't/don't know how to, ask us and we will edit it for you :3

- If you're a fan and you want to enjoy an event:
You can see below the list of cities and their activities. The staff will be happy to see you at the event :D Also, if you have any question, suggestion or comment, both the organizers and ourselves will be glad to answer it ^^
- If you work for the press:
Using the media, all kinds of publishing, blogs, message boards, social networks, or simply telling your friends about it, you're making this idea reach more people, and more fans will be able to organize or go to the events of this day ^_^ Please help us spread this message inside and outside the web! You can use the press release below and/or the posters that you can distribute in your city, both the city-specific that are in the following list and the generic one at the end of the first paragraph.
We know it's a little bit risky and that associations that don't have a physical space won't have much time >_< but nobody is forced to participate. This is only an initiative that we hope has a wide approval, but we understand that not everyone has the power or the time to do something. Anyway, in the worst case, we'll make a very special day in Málaga for our part ^_^ so we wish that our city is not the only one, but that all TRC fans can enjoy this special day in their communities, linking the bond we all TRC fans share no matter our age, sex or nationality: our love for Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE.
Events and activities constantly updated!

Being friends of Clow and Lulu (the administrators of Crossed Destinies) for some years now, it's a pleasure to be able to support this initiative. As far as I know, I don't think there are many CLAMP-related events in this global scale, and now with the Internet this kind of thing is possible. We can all participate in our own way and I really hope something will take place in my country as well, I'm willing to support anything =)
Spread the word about it, be welcomed to contribute with something to your city and let's all celebrate the Tsubasa Day on May 21!
