Double splash page black and white! Not something we see everyday =) Pretty cool-looking one, by the way.
Eh? Clones cannot die? And you tell us that now, Ohkawa? Great... xD Not sure how I feel about this revival thing yet. To me dead is dead.
Yuuko will grant them life again? With no price? Take it or leave it, special offer, 100% OFF!!!!!!
Dum dum dum, revelations, dum dum dum! So at the verge of Yuuko's death (I wonder what the cause of her almost-death was!), Clow made a wish so that she wouldn't die (ashajkshakjhsajksh romantique!) And look at that, Fei Wang Reed used his own power to try to grant that wish. First evidence of the transformation devil to angel of Fei Wang xD
Dum dum dum, more revelations! The mess with Clow Country is explained. When Syaoran turned back time, the people who knew about Sakura's death seal were affected, so in this new, rewound version of Clow, Nadeshiko was dead and Fujitaka became Syaoran's (adoptive) father. The role of Clow's king was filled by Clow himself, who traveled to Clow Country to fill the empty king's place.
That is right, only one Clow, the same Clow of Card Captor Sakura. In one panel we see the moment of his departure and we see Kero and Yue, however, I'm not sure if the death we were informed about in CCS isn't really a real death, meaning that he actually lied to Kero and Yue and traveled to Clow, or if this departure happened before the departure Kero and Yue always talked about.
Something tells me that Ohkawa tweaked CCS's plot making Clow to lie about his death for Kero and Yue.
But Clow did eventually die, that is why Touya became the king of Clow, and that is how, like Yuuko says in this chapter, he left his magic power behind. Now, in the previous chapter we learned that Clow deposited part (or was it all?) of his power in Syaoran, right? Syaoran!Papa I assume? What about Eriol? Where does he fit in this mess? He had Clow's powers too.
And it is just me or the reason why Yuuko opened the shop for granting people's wishes was in order to use it as a price to revive clone!Sakura? Then she knew it all along clone!Sakura would die ;_; Is this the real purpose of the shop? The "event" Yuuko and CLAMP always talked about?
Okay, so Clow didn't really strongly wished for Yuuko's revival, he simply thought of wanting to see her opening her eyes again and that made her time stop? Wow. And that is why he wanted to get rid of his immense powers since. Thanks CLAMP, I found the explanation of Clow giving up his powers convincing enough (because of the whole romantic factor behind it. Clow/Yuuko = OTP).
I'm still a lot confused time-line wise. I don't know what events come first and if they really don't collide with each other. I'm talking about things like Clow being alive with Sakura's star staff in Yuuko's shop at the same time (it was already at Yuuko's shop before Syaoran turned back time and thus, before Clow went to Clow). mama!Sakura met CCS!Sakura from the future in the dream? Confusing @_@
Next chapter, next week! But they don't say anything about color pages O.o I still think there will be some, though.
