GANTZ World Premiere!
I came back 2-ish hours ago from the Gantz World Premiere! I didn't even know about until last week, when I went to see Harry Potter and saw the trailer for GANTZ. Reaction: "MATSUYAMA KENICHI! MUST WATCH!!!" I hadn't read or watched GANTZ prior to that, so I've spent the past few days reading it. The first 2 or 3 volumes were good, but the next 10 or so volumes were kind of meh. Kei's horny and whiny-ness got really annoying; I'm so glad the series picked up. Though where I'm at currently, it looks likes things are going to get really crazy again O__o
The movie was good, managed to pack in the first 13-ish volumes. There were definitely a lot of changes though. I didn't miss Kei's douchebaggery, that's for sure xD The bromance factor was also increased heavily, Kei really seemed more interested in Katou than Kishimoto lmao xD (not that I mind of course!) Matsuyama Kenichi = <3!!! I'm also liking Nino, didn't really pay much attention to him before, but he was really cute :DDD
I loved the interviews at the end too. There were many laughs, mostly at how MatsuKen kept talking and talking, and his interpreter would just be like "O_O shorter plz?? I've forgotten most of what you've said!" I felt bad for the poor interpreter! Couldn't keep up with MatsuKen's rambling xD Nino didn't speak much though, they looked pretty tired :( must be the long flights~
I'm so glad I went~~ the ticket for GANTZ was cheaper than a regular movie ticket too, which is a bonus \(^_^)/
